Photography By Dan BaumbachNormally I don't spend a lot of time at the several art festivals held each year at the Sonoma Plaza. I don't like the crowds, I don't like the fight for parking, and I don't like the so called art that generally can be found at these kinds of gatherings. Too many dilettantes seem to have too much time on their hands. Isn't there a Simon Cowell of the art world. Recently I have found myself spending some time at the Sonoma Festival of the Arts. My son's high school band has performed. So while waiting for his performance, or while waiting for him to pack up so we can go home, I have spent a bit of time wandering, and following up on anything that caught my eye. Well, Dan Baumbach's stunning photography certainly caught my eye that day. Wow! I have been many of the places Dan has photographed.
